Matt Connally
English/Youth Pastor

Matt Connally graduated from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Illinois with a Master of Divinity in 2000. He joined the NHCC staff team as the English/youth pastor in January, 2017. A native Texan, he is married to Melissa, an Oklahoma girl whom he met in Hong Kong when both of them were serving with Campus Crusade for Christ International. They have two boys, Matthew and Jeremiah.

Naaman Wei

Naaman Wei was born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan, and became a Christian during his pursuit of a MBA degree at the University of Houston. After graduation, he worked in the Supply Chain field for international companies in China and US. He is married to Emily Lin and they have two children, Caroline and Nathan. He graduated from Logos Evangelical Seminary with a Master of Divinity in 2020. He enjoys hearty conversations and desires to apply Biblical principles to daily life.

Lie Sie Oei

Lie Sie Oei is a trained psychiatric nurse from England. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction (Education), minoring in Middle School (4-8 grade) Mathematics. She has a Master’s degree in Biblical Studies from Grace School of Theology. She joined as a staff of NHCC in 2015. She is married to Kean Seng, and has four children- Andrew, Sara, David and Joshua.

Jason Sham

Jason Sham graduated from Dallas Theological Seminary with a Master of Theology. He also graduated at the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Fine Arts.

George Chan

George Chan was born and raised in Hong Kong, China, and came to the U.S. in 1977. He graduated from Dallas Theological Seminary with a Master’s Degree in Chaplaincy and Ministry Care and is a Clinical Pastoral Education intern. The Lord led him to join NHCC as a part-time staff member in 2017. He and Ginnie, his beloved wife of over forty years, have two daughters, Jasmine and Cyana.
